The Sink That Fits
Here's the sink that created a problem. It's a nice one and not very old, but it created problems when it came to turning on the water in the shower. If you went into the shower and turned the water on, you got drenched with cold water. It you moved the doors down and tried to turn it on while standing outside, you had to do some fancy, Twister-type moves. You couldn't get around the sink very well. It was a ritual that my husband enjoyed watching ... limbo and twist to the faucets!
So what to do? Sergio suggested that he get someone to take out the current sink and put in one that fitted the space. This would let me get to the spigots without doing the Watusi. That's how we met Oscar. What a sweetie he is! On time every day; quiet worker without any demands; cleaned up each day, too. He worked 8 hours a day and only expected 300 pesos for a day! We, of course, made sure he got a bit extra.
Now I have a WOW! sink with a ceramic, painted basic that fits the space.
